Jennifer King, PharmD

Senior Director of Toxicology, DMPK, and Clinical Pharmacology  

Jennifer King, Pharm D is Senior Director of Toxicology, DMPK, and Clinical Pharmacology. She has more than 20 years of experience in drug development. Jennifer started her career in academia as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine with a research focus on antiretrovirals. After 13 years, she joined AbbVie as a clinical pharmacologist making significant contributions to the submission and regulatory approval of Viekira PakTM (dasabuvir, ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir) and TechnivieTM (ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir). Later, she joined Roivant/Urovant Sciences where she led the clinical pharmacology program contributing to the approval of GEMTESA® (vibegron) and the subsequent pediatric development program. Most recently, she was the Senior Director of Toxicology, DMPK, and Clinical Pharmacology at Cyclerion. Jennifer graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling internationally and playing with her two babies (Havanese dogs).
